A great week of enlivening events is coming up! Please join us with friends and family to take part!

Lots of dancing and chanting on Tuesday beginning around 6:30, with the Mayapuris (shown above) performing from 7-9p. For anyone who doesn't know who the Mayapuris are, visit www.mayapuris.com.

Krishna Immersion Day on Saturday from 8a - 8p. A tentative schedule will be announced later in the week. Lots of chanting, kirtan, Krishna katha, and such to look forward to! Check with www.newgoloka.com for updates.
And finally, to better accommodate everyone's summer schedule, we will begin the Sunday program one hour later. Starting June 19th, the program schedule will be: arati at 5p, lecture from approx. 5:40p - 6:30, evening arati at 8p, with darshan closing at 8:30p. Please make a note of it!

To accommodate everyone's busy summer schedules, New Goloka will be hosting the Sunday program and feast one hour later (5p). This will continue through the summer. Darshan will still close at 7:30p, however.

This Wednesday, June 22nd, the traveling Kishori Yatra tour will be stopping once again in New Goloka to show us their incredible talent and enliven all who watch. The program will begin at 6p.

On Saturday, June 25th, Prabhupada Village in Sandy Ridge, NC will host a 12 hour kirtan, 10a - 10p. More chanting, hearing, and dancing all day - don't miss it!

This Saturday beginning at 10a, all are welcome (children especially!) to come and decorate Lord Jagannath's cart. We will have a Ratha yatra procession around the temple grounds for about an hour, then a short discourse, then arati and lunch prasadam! Bring an offering if you'd like, and also friends and family to celebrate Ratha yatra!

Please join us this Sunday evening, and bring your family and friends! This is a great opportunity to expand your spiritual awareness and get a better understanding of your relationship in this creation, as well as make new friends and enjoy nice prasadam.

The Krishna Culture Summer Bus Tour (with the boys this time) is here in New Goloka! Please join us this evening for nice bhajans by the next generation, followed by prasadam. The program starts at 6p - feel free to bring a dish to share!

This Saturday, we will be giving the temple a maha-cleaning starting at around 10a. Those who aren't afraid of heights or of getting a little dusty are urged to join us! Everything will be given a thorough once-over before Janmastami - it's great devotional service, and a few hours of your time and efforts are much appreciated. Delectable lunch prasadam will be served.

To keep everyone in the loop while making this years' Janmastami celebration the best yet, we will be disseminating information as it becomes available. Please feel free to contribute by emailing us your suggestions on how to improve your festival experience!

We Still Need Help! And High Schoolers are welcome!
Over the next few weeks, we will be readying the temple and grounds to host upwards of 3000 people for Krishna's appearance day. Please consider taking some time out of your schedule to do a little devotional service. This Saturday, August 6th, we will again work on the temple interior - join us!

If you have a high school student who needs service hours, please call Mahamantra das at 919.699.6679 to set up a time/day for them to come and help out. They will receive a certificate on the spot for their service!

Got Dirt? Space is Needed...

There is a large pile of top-quality aged compost at New Goloka near the handicapped parking area that needs to be moved prior to Janmastami to make room for parking. It's almost time to start the fall garden, so please feel free to bring your vehicle and take whatever you need.

Appearance Day of Srila Prabhupada

The day after Janmastami, August 23rd, is the appearance day of Founder-Acarya A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada and we will be celebrating. There is a fast till noon, but beginning at 9a, we will have pushpanjali,Prabhupada katha, and guru puja, followed by another sumptuous feast. Please join us!
