The Krishna consciousness movement can create a class of leaders to bring about a sublime golden era of universal peace and happiness on this planet, but unfortunately no one is listening to its spokesmen. If by mistake any person takes initiation from any such guru and then later on realizes his mistake that he got initiation from a woman hunter or person engrossed in sense gratification, can that fellow go for initiation from a bona fide guru? Can he replace his bogus spiritual master with a bona fide spiritual master? Please advise. Regards, Pankaj M. Answer: Take Real Initiation from a Bona Fide Guru Initiation from a bogus guru is not a valid initiation. It does not count as a real initiation. If one has unfortunately received such an initiation, it should be neglected, and one should take initiation from a bona fide spiritual master, who is fully empowered to deliver him from the cycle of birth and death.
