There are numerous heaps of ruins all of bricks, picked with stone. The place is of a great archaeological and anthropological interest. This is where Mahanadi River originates and flows through the state of Chhattisgarh before finding its way to the Bay of Bengal. Raipur is bestowed with monuments and ancient traditions that are of national, historical and anthropological significance. Among various tourist attractions in Raipur, Turturiya Springs, Raipur is worth visiting. There are numerous heaps of ruins all of bricks, picked with stone. The place is of a great archaeological and anthropological interest. Turturiya Springs in Raipur is also good for organizing picnics and excursions.
